When we first started to look for wedding caterers for Holly and Dan I believed we were up against it because I have never had acceptable food at any mass catering event. Furthermore, it had to be good enough to please the many Italians in our family who insist food has to taste good and be presented in the best possible way.
At our first meeting we knew we had found kindred spirits with Kemp & Kemp. Your ideas and proposals were exactly what we had spent weeks looking for. Our tasting session encouraged us more – but could Karen achieve that standard on the day? I know that cooking for these numbers in a marquee doesn’t get much harder. Suffice to say, all expectations were exceeded by a good margin.
We are still talking about the canapés weeks later. The main course (including the Vegetarian option) was superb, and I would have been proud to have made the sauteed potatoes with rosemary myself, not to mention the sauteed endive. The desserts too were unbelievable. Our guests were talking about the meal all night, and my dad said it was the best meal he has ever eaten outside our family… he now even concedes that English people can cook – well, some.
On top of this, the service was outstanding. I will say again – you achieved everything we asked for, and more. Thank you for making the wedding so memorable.
